Emma Anderson
By The Anderson Family
On March 9th of this year, our family's lives were changed
forever with a near fatal accident and the diagnosis of a very tough
brain tumor for our youngest of three children, Emma. The
feeling of fear, sadness, and uncertainty for al of us is still
difficult to put into words. It was truly the ending of
innocence for Emma with all she had to endure and what she had to
look forward to. It's only through prayer, Emma's positive
personality, and the dedicated team of doctors and nurses at Rainbow
that helped to pull us all through those dark hours to the point
where we are at today. In March, who would have through that
Emma would be enjoying as normal and happy a lifestyle as she is
today - almost the same in every way prior to her illness.
When choosing Rainbow for Emma's care, we knew we were coming to
the best place from all we had heard. In these eight months we
learned that this facility and its care have to be the greatest in
the world. As Emma says, "It's not a place of white coats and
scary things, but our extended family - Big Al, the Dodster, Bad Dr.
Chad, Bold Dr. Gold, Sunny Susan, Little Walter, and many more
smiling faces." "What a team!" Day or night, whatever
the need, the team at Rainbow is always there for our Emma.
The dedication and knowledge of these people is nothing short of
amazing. Such serious business, yet it's a fun place. If
your life has to undergo changes, like it has for Emma, what a great
team of friends to help you along the way.
